The IT-Map family of companies were founded in Europe 1996 by industry veteran Tim Hayes, originally a professional accountant who has involved in the software development since 1974.

IT-Map develops IT infrastructure and middle-ware products for in-house IT Departments, Independent Software Vendors and Consultants. Since 1997 the company has developed expertise in the field of database design, development and data management. Although the IT industry has almost universally adopted relational database engines in the 1990's, the technical differences between the major platforms produced by Oracle, Microsoft, IBM and others creates hurdles for the majority of users who operate in a multi-platform environment. IT-Map's technological base is fully cross-platform, supporting all major database environments.
