Polyhedra is the leading real-time fault tolerant embedded database for heterogeneous client/server systems. Based on open standards, Polyhedra provides a unique combination of event-driven database technology, including Active Queries and object method encapsulation, with object-relational database standards for reliable high speed database execution. The In-memory database performs many times faster than conventional disk-based databases, even if they are entirely cached in memory. Persistent data and SQL transactions are written to magnetic media. Polyhedra’s sophisticated data persistence includes a replication and fault tolerant Master/Standby configuration to provide continuous database server availability with fault tolerant transactions and clients.
