Principal Scientist, Palo Alto Research Center
Markus Jakobsson is principal scientist at Palo Alto Research Center, and a co-founder of RavenWhite Inc and Extricatus LLC. He has worked as principal research scientist at RSA Laboratories and the former editor of RSA CryptoBytes. He has been a member of the technical staff at Bell Labs, associate professor at Indiana University, and adjunct associate professor at New York University. He holds a Ph.D in computer science from University of California at San Diego. He is a member of the team behind SecurityCartoon, and of the PARC security group. Jakobsson is a noted authority on the subject of phishing and is regularly invited to speak on the topic at conferences and workshops.
