Barb Goldworm is the President and Chief Analyst at FOCUS Consulting, a firm that specializes in virtualization. She has been working with TechTarget for the past several years, focusing on virtualization and blades. Barb started working with virtualization at IBM about 30 years ago. She also has worked with StorageTek, Novell, Enterprise Management Associates, and successful startup companies. She has been an expert columnist since the 1990s, writing for NetworkWorld, ComputerWorld SNWOnline, TechTarget SearchServerVirtualization, SearchVMWare, SearchITChannel, Virtual-Strategy Magazine, Virtual Data Center, and Business Trends Quarterly. Goldworm has written research reports, white papers, columns, and the book Blade Servers and Virtualization: Transforming Enterprise Computing While Cutting Costs. She has been the conference chair for the Virtualization Track at Interop and Blade Systems Insight).
