ABSTRACT:
The Dell Management Console redefines much of the systems management paradigm,
through a holistic, Web browserbased single pane of glass approach to managing enterprise-wide IT assets. Out of the box, the default portal home page offers a comprehensive console view and a straightforward, wizard-based path to easily migrate existing Dell systems discovery ranges and credentials from the Dell OpenManage IT Assistant tool - a good way to get started on the path to simplified management. But it would be a shame to stop there, bypassing much of the added management depth the console offers, which can be easily harnessed by snapping in Web parts from the extensive library provided.
